Your septic tanks should be pumped every three to five years. Cortez Liquid Waste Services offers septic services for a reasonable price. We will vacuum-pump your septic tank to safely and properly dispose of your liquid waste.
A lift station is a critical part of a sewer line, designed to keep wastewater (such as from storms) flowing off your property and into the municipal sewer systems. Any disruption in the system can seriously impact both your health and the public’s health; that’s why Cortez Liquid Waste Services is on hand to quickly and efficiently get your lift station drained.
When on route, the septic service driver will give a courtesy phone call to the client to ensure availability and meeting of the scheduled appointment. At this time the client can give specific directions (if necessary) regarding the location and any other information needed.
We ask that our clients already have their septic lids exposed by the time of service. If the lids are not exposed, we will be unable to perform septic scheduled services. If you are needing help locating the septic itself or the lids, we typically recommend following the sewer line from the house to the cleanout plug (about 3" above the ground) and further down to the septic.
The septic systems are typically 500-1000 gallons, with 1-2 lids. This may vary from system to system.
Pumping the waste may require water to be pumped into the system first to soften the waste.
If the water does not filter into the system for any reason, this may indicate a clog in the line. Although, tending to this problem is not within the service we offer, the driver may attempt to help at their discretion. The driver may inform the client to call their septic maintenance provider.
